    So sorry its been awhile...

    Thursday, February 5, 2009, 07:44 PM [General]

I don't get to this site often and I apologize for that. I spent the 2008 season at PaRF playing Lady Mary Browne, Dwager Countess of Southampton (the mother-in-law of the Countess I played in 2007!) and one of the possible bride of Ivan the Terrible and future tzarina of Muscovy. It was an awesome season!

Now its the dreaded off-season, that long winter break between what was and what will be. Auditions for our 2009 season are coming up in a couple weeks and I'm hoping to be back on the queen's court. I'm running out of Countess of Southampton though so on to a new family! There are lots of plans for this coming season and I'm looking forward to it all.

Between then and now, its back to the real world and work as usual with a busy fulltime job to keep me occupied. Possibly a show or two in the works too, and maybe even a spot as an extra in an upcoming M. Night Shamalan movie being filmed in Philly.

Until we meet again, see you on the streets of Mount Hope this summer!

Its been a few months...time for another blog!

    Sunday, November 25, 2007, 08:14 AM [General]

    Hello everyone!

Thanks to everyone who has found and added me, and my apologies for never being around here or updating my page!

Let's see...since my last blog in July (seriously? that long ago? geesh), the PA Renaissance Faire season has come and gone. I had an absolute blast and my best year ever playing Lady Elizabeth Vernon, Countess of Southampton...and kin to the pllot's villian (which meant yes, I did tend to get rather unpleasant at times ;-) ). The season was amazing and I'm already finding myself planning for next year. There's something about being a noble for a year that just triggers something in the brain that says everytime one is in some sort of shop or store, one must look at every piece of costume jewelry and evaluate its costume-worthiness.

The plans for now? Survive the holidays. I'm going to try to do a   show or two in the off-season, but it depends what I can find that can fit into my schedule. The show I did back in May before the faire started (Crimes of the Heart at a local theater) took a lot of time and took a lot out of me. I may try the parttime job thing to get some extra money for gas and whatnot ($3+ a gallon? ouch).

Thats the short recap and preview I suppose. I tend to update MySpace more, but I'll try to get over here more often too. Have a happy holiday season everyone!

    -E.

Before I forget and become rude, thanks for the add! Very interesting garb you have, and that one other picture I commented on, I really do mean it. That you look like Kate Beckinsale in Underworld.
